What to wear: Red, White and Blue

The 4th of July is just two weeks a way and it's time to start planning your outfit. How do you show your pride on Independence Day? Do you keep it simple with a patriotic tee? Or do you go all out with stars and stripes?

Below I've put together three ways to rock your red, white and blue on the this Independence Day Weekend without dressing like a literal flag (not that there's anything wrong with that :) )

1. Pair solids and stripes!

The Denim Side Split Maxi skirt can act as your blue. Add a red tee or tank as I have done here and finish it off with striped accessories for a effortlessly stylish festive look. You could also sport a white top and make it pop with red drop earrings and a necklace. You options are really limitless with this one.

2. Pick your color!

Wear a one piece, a dress or maybe a jumpsuit in a solid red, white or blue and then let your accessories finish the look. If you choose a red piece like the Sleeveless Hoodie pictured above add some white shoes (Chucks would be comfy) and blue stack bracelets. The Sleeveless Hoodie dress is also available in  cobalt blue and navy.

3. Rock a print!

But ditch the Stars and the Stripes you don't have to look like a flag. The color scheme is what really matters. You could do a blue and white chevron, red and white polka dots or this Blue Aztec Skater Dress. If you love stripes like I do add them in your accessories like the purse above.

Have a safe and fun holiday weekend!!!
